About Ada

Ada is a speaker, writer, accredited mindfulness teacher and founder of Marmalade + Kindness, online mindful cooking journal.

Her mission is to help people find mindfulness and creativity in their daily lives.

Ada has worked in professional services for over seven years (as a lawyer and in the management consulting industry, internationally). Over this time, she maintained a personal mindfulness practice and observed the ability of mindful cooking to manage her stress and anxiety during difficult periods. This inspired her to share the joys of mindful living with others.

Ada holds a LLB (Hons) from Monash University, LLM from Melbourne University, and ATCL Speech + Drama, Trinity College London. She is a professionally trained speaker and an accredited mindfulness teacher through The Devon School of Mindfulness. Her writing has been featured in the press and she has appeared on a number of podcasts discussing the benefits of mindful cooking.

EXECUTIVE MINDFULNESS COACHING WITH ADA

Have you tried mindfulness apps in the past?
Have you experienced the benefits through meditation but haven’t been able to make it a lasting habit?
Do you often find yourself feeling stressed and tired but find it hard to make the time for self-care?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may benefit from working with a mindfulness coach.

In today’s business environments of increased competition and demanding workloads, executives are reporting higher instances of stress and burnout.

Ada works with executives, founders and partners in the professional services industries to manage stress and restore their energy by incorporating mindfulness into their daily life.

She works 1-1 to teach you the 8 Week Mindfulness Now Program, accredited by the British Psychological Society and The National Register of Psychotherapists and Counsellors (NRPC).

Over 8 weeks you will gain a full and comprehensive understanding of mindfulness, develop personal strategies to build your resilience, manage stress effectively and optimise your performance potential.

Benefits of working with a mindfulness coach

Clients usually come after they have experienced some form of meditation (usually through an app, free online meditations or yoga classes). While these are useful entry points to the practice of meditation, they typically notice the following benefits from working 1-1 with a coach:

  • Comprehensive understanding of ‘mindfulness’: clients often report that they didn’t have a complete picture of how various techniques fit together and how to progress.
  •

  • Quality meditations: Clients often comment on the difference it makes to their practice having meditations that are written for them, based on their individual learning style, and delivered by a teacher with voice training.
  •

  • Create a habit: Working with a coach makes it easier to maintain a consistent practice through accountability, regular sessions and ongoing support.
  •

  • Risks are mitigated: While mindfulness is generally a very safe practice, difficult emotions or experiences may arise. By working with a coach this can be managed more appropriately.
  •

  • True learning: Clients don’t feel reliant on me (or other audio recordings) to continue with their practice, it’s a technique that they keep coming back to themselves to make meaningful change.
